Mikado Vertical Rigging System: The Ultimate Saira Setup
The Mikado Vertical Rigging System offers the most effective way to present your Saira soft plastic, optimising your hook-up success, especially when targeting barramundi.
While originally designed for vertical presentations, the core principle of this system—keeping the lure perfectly horizontal—is key to achieving a lifelike action. This is crucial for techniques like strolling or slow-rolling, ensuring the Saira swims naturally.
Key Advantages:
Maximum Hook Exposure: The unique placement of the vertical treble hook ensures all hook points are fully exposed for superior penetration, whilst still remaining neatly pinned within the soft plastic body.
Reduced Hook Throws: Equipped with high-quality swivels, the system eliminates torsion and twist against the hook, drastically reducing the chance of a barramundi throwing the hook during the fight.
This is simply the ultimate rigging setup for a reliable and effective Saira presentation.
