Mikado Jaws Twitch 195: Technical Precision
Retail price: $349.99
The Mikado Jaws Twitch 195 is a professional-grade casting rod specifically engineered for technical lure fishing. This rod is the ultimate precision tool for targeting hard-hitting species like Australian Bass and Mangrove Jack across rivers, lakes, and snag-heavy environments.
Features and Performance
This rod is all about precision, feedback, and lightning-fast reactions:
Technical Lure Control: Dedicated to working hard lures, this rod excels with glide baits, crankbaits, jerkbaits, and spinnerbaits. It is particularly effective for the “twitching” technique with glides up to 18cm.
Lightweight Precision: At only 108g, this rod offers incredible sensitivity. You can feel every tiny twitch from your jerkbait and even the subtlest of bites from wary Bass.
Short-Range Accuracy: The 6′ 5″ length is ideal for accurate, technical casts into tight pockets, underhanging branches, or deep into the shadows of timber where predators lie in wait.
Crisp Action: The blank is designed to provide the “snap” needed to work jerkbaits effectively while maintaining the necessary backbone to pull a feisty Mangrove Jack or a big River Bass away from structure.
