The Mikado Jaws Baitcast Range is a collection of professional-grade tools engineered for the modern predator angler. Whether you are flicking finesse lures into tight river pockets for Australian Bass or launching massive swimbaits for Trophy Murray Cod and Barramundi, the Jaws series offers a specialised blank to get the job done.

Engineered for Excellence

Every rod in the Jaws series is designed with a specific purpose, but they all share a common DNA of high-performance features:

• Hi-Modulus Blanks: Each rod is built on an advanced carbon blank that offers an exceptional power-to-weight ratio and “instant” feedback, ensuring you feel every strike.

• Double Locking Reel Seats: On our heavy-duty models (Pike Monster and Big Baitcast), a double locking system ensures your reel remains rock-solid during high-impact casting and heavy fights.

• Specialised Actions: From the crisp, “snappy” action of the Twitch to the deep-flexing, shock-absorbing power of the Pike Monster, these rods are tuned to keep hooks pinned against aggressive head-shakes.

• Targeted Ergonomics: Lightweight builds and balanced handles allow you to fish longer and cast further with less fatigue, session after session.

Range Overview

• The Finesse Tools: Use the Micro Secret and Twitch for technical accuracy and light-lure applications where sensitivity is paramount.

• The Heavy Hitters: Step up to the Pike Monster and Big Baitcast when it’s time to throw the big gear. These rods provide the massive power reserves needed to control Australia’s most iconic “bucket-list” species.
